We launch from public boat launches on Kerr Lake with good walk-in access — tell us your preferred area when you request a reservation and a Foil Specialist will confirm the exact spot with you.

Is Kerr Lake in North Carolina or Virginia?

Both — Kerr Lake (Buggs Island Lake) straddles the NC/VA state line near Henderson, NC. We can launch from either side.

Is there a travel fee for Kerr Lake?

Yes — Kerr Lake is outside our normal Charlotte-area launch zone (Lake Norman, Mountain Island Lake, and Lake Wylie), so a $50/hr travel fee applies. We travel up to 6 hours one way from Charlotte, NC; a Foil Specialist will confirm the exact fee with you when you request a reservation.
